I am a 28 year old expectant mother and chia has helped me tremendously during my pregnancy! When I found out I was pregnant, my OB had me start taking daily vitamins instead of jumping into prenatal vitamins. He's said that he'd monitor me throughout my pregnancy in order to make necessary adjustments to ensure that my baby and I had the proper nutrition. Even over-the-counter prenatal vitamins are huge pills (aside from the other pills that are suggested for use, such as fish oil pills) and they also tend to make women feel very sick, so I was very happy to start on regular daily vitamins. I found some great chewable vitamins that worked for me, but with the demands of pregnancy, I knew that they eventually wouldn't be enough if I wanted to stay off of the prenatal pills.

I started doing my research to see what I could add to my meals that would help sustain my nutritional needs, and that's when I found Purisalv. It's the only thing that I've found to provide me all of the elements I need, without having to incorporate 2 or 3 other items into my meals. I started adding it to my daily snack of yogurt, fruit and honey, and on some lazy days I just put a spoonful in my water. I've found that I've continued to feel great, and I've had numerous comments from people about how active and energetic I seem, even in the later stages of my pregnancy. I even added some prenatal yoga to my weekly routines, while keeping up the healthy eating with my daily dose of chia. Not only does it help with my nutritional needs, but it helps keep my hydrated (a big deal for expectant mothers) and it has helped me feel full and avoid some of the temptations to eat more sweets.

I'm now 32 weeks pregnant, and my doctor says that baby and I are going great! I'm at a healthy weight and my baby is right on schedule and growing as he should be. My OB hasn't put me on prenatal vitamins, and it doesn't look like he will at this point because of the great progress I've had. I couldn't tell you how happy I am. I'm definitely going to keep this up after I deliver my baby. I'm hoping that it will also speed up recovery and help me get my body back into shape!
